Client Responsibilities
Furniture: Removal of all furniture prior to our arrival on site. Fitting of felt pads to furniture after works complete
Floor Protection: Although the varnish is dry after 2 hours, it will not be fully cured until after 72 hours. Please minimise traffic during the curing time.
Works Protection: The Client must ensure the works area(s) remains free of traffic when works are in progress.
Room Temperature: Must be ambient i.e. 18 – 22oC. Humidity 40-60%.
Air Cross Flow: Must have air circulation to ensure dust-free sanding.
Stain: Someone must be present to approve stain colour. Stain must be chosen before lunchtime on day 1 of works. Charges apply after 3 stain samples and for custom staining.
Inspection: Can only be carried out from a standing position with normal lighting. Glare, particularly from large windows magnifies any irregularity and should not determine acceptance.
Skirting: When work is complete you may need to touch-up the skirting. We do not accept responsibility for any accidental damage to skirting, walls, furniture, etc.
Dust: Although our machines are virtually dust free, occasionally some dust may accidentally escape. Although we will do our upmost to prevent this we cannot accept responsibility for cleaning/dusting.
General Charges: Should crews be requested to carry out additional works or encounter client delays our minimum charge is €120 per hour/man.
With these terms and conditions we have attempted to answer some of our most frequently asked questions. We would appreciate it, if you, our most valuable source of information, would take a few minutes and let us know if there is anything we should address.
