Laura contacted us two weeks ago with a query as part of a very exciting project that she was in the middle of undertaking. As part of their house renovations and improvements Laura wanted to get her floors revitalised and brought back to life.
After scrolling through our amazing google reviews Laura’s mind was made up and she decided to give us a call here in RH Wood Floors.
We had a great chat with Laura over the phone firstly where Laura very kindly shared her different ideas for her beautiful floors while at the same time asking for us to share our wealth of experience and advice on what might work best for her particular floors.
After the initial friendly chat was concluded over the phone we arranged a date for one of our crew members Jason to visit Laura, see the floors up close and to detail everything clearly for Laura with a clear and well explained quote sheet for the proposed works.
Jason as much time as was needed to share his floor expertise with Laura and explain to her the different finishes and colours she could choose from once the floor was fully sanded back.
Once Laura had decided on exactly what she wanted we went about scheduling in dates that suited Laura best. We appreciate how busy people are and the preparation that is required to get floors done in a family home so we will always work with our clients to get them booked in for the date that will work best for them.
Our sanding crew were with Laura for a week in total and it was a project that they enjoyed immensely. On arrival Igor and Michael took the time to do a small sample area on Laura’s floors so she could see very clearly on her own floor what way the different finishes would work.
They then revved the sanding machines up and got to work on restoring Laura’s floors around her house with a full sand and a satin clear varnish finish. With the house extremely busy from overlapping groups of work men there were a few logistical challenges that were faced but nothing that we couldn’t manage or overcome in our bid to get this project completed to our usual top class standard and most importantly in a way that Laura would be thrilled.
We finished up with Laura over the weekend and she is absolutely delighted with how well the floors came up as part of the restoration project.
