As a professional wood flooring firm, we like to help out other fellow professionals. Interior designers are no exception and in fact, we work with them more often than not. Grace was the latest interior designer we worked with and I think it’s safe to say she appreciated the work we competed for her going by her ecstatic Google review she left us last month.

Graces clients had complete faith and trust in her taste when it came to flooring. The owners of the house didn’t even have a single bit of input when it came to what colour or even material the floor was going to be. Grace had her mind set on a beautiful wood floor to give the room some personality and charisma.

In the end she decided on a floating parquet install in the hall and back room. She had not fully decided what this room was going to be but did know she wanted a stunning herringbone parquet floor installed. The house was a very big, modern house in Howth and Grace seemed like she had the type of budget to make her perfect house. This is why she was not holding back and wanted the best of the best parquet flooring and flooring installers.

Every now and then we have some time available just days after contact has been made with the client to begin working. This was the case with Grace as she called us at the perfect moment. We just received an email about a last-minute cancelation only minutes before the call took place. I’m sure most of the RH Wood Floors crew was more excited to fit this parquet floor in two days’ time rather than have the day off.

Our crew have over 120 years collective experience in fitting and sanding floors which would be a crucial factor in installing this floor. They have also been given the latest in flooring technology to ensure nothing will go wrong. We used a brand-new line lazer to make each block of flooring line up perfectly perpendicular to the next row.

We had the whole day to complete this hall and back room for Grace’s clients and we had no issues in meeting that deadline. We even got to meet the owners of the house just as we were finishing up, who were very lovely people and were over the moon with how it turned out.
